Parliamentary praise for property agency

PARLIAMENTARY PRAISE FOR PROPERTY AGENCY

BRINGING TRUST BACK TO AN INDUSTRY

HOW AN INNOVATIVE ONLINE CUSTOMER REVIEW SERVICE IS SETTING A NEW STANDARD

NO FAKE NEWS IN McRAE’S REVIEWS

At a time when Fake News and Fake Reviews cause many to doubt what they read online, a London estate agency has been leading the way to bring trust and honesty back to an industry not normally associated with such terms – surprisingly via the internet.

Now McRae’s Sales, Lettings and Management has been recognised by Parliament for the role they are playing in raising industry standards. They have been selected as a beacon of “Best Practice” by MPs and Lords and included in the latest edition of prestigious publication The Parliamentary Review.

Agency Managing Director Craig McRae said: “We are thrilled to have been recognised in this way and to be chosen by MPs and Lords for this honour. We have been operating in our area of North East London for more than 20 years and it is most rewarding to be recognised in this way.”

In the magazine, which also recognises “Determined Leadership” and “Innovative Thinking,” those included are praised for acting as a “Template for Reform.” In a foreword by Lord Blunkett and Lord Pickles, the article on McRae’s Sales and Lettings is one of those seeking “To Inspire All Who Read Them”.

As a champion of the innovative and independent Customer Review scheme run by referenceline, the property agency has been recognised for helping to raise standards throughout their industry. The online review scheme is supported by The Property Ombudsman and recognised by Trading Standards UK.

Based in Highams Park, North East London and covering Highams Park, Chingford, Walthamstow and Woodford Green, McRae’s was an early champion of the scheme and was soon drawing positive reviews.

Craig McRae added: “McRae’s is delighted to have been included in the prestigious Parliamentary Review publication focussing on our work to establish the referenceline independent customer review service.”

“Normally estate agents have a bit of a poor reputation. This Review scheme is totally independent and totally genuine. It’s all part of efforts by The Property Ombudsman – the industry watchdog – to let genuine customer feedback weed out the bad guys and raise standards across the industry. I’m pleased to say our current scores for customer satisfaction are running at 97% in the sales sector and 98% in lettings. The key areas in which we have received most praise are Honesty, Friendliness, Trust and Professionalism. What could be better than genuine customer satisfaction to promote your business?

“That said, you are only as good as your last Review and this scheme keeps us on our toes – helping us to recognise any issues that can be improved and to raise our standards even further.”

Founded with former minister The Rt. Hon David Curry, The Parliamentary Review’s primary aim is to showcase the work of a number of leading organisations across the public and private sector. The publication features exclusive forewords from the Prime Minister and the BBC’s Andrew Neil alongside unique content from representative organisations within each policy sector. The resulting document serves as a reliable and balanced account of British industry and what may be expected in the future.
