Hello – and welcome to the latest blog from McRae’s Sales, Lettings and Management. These are challenging times for all of us and there has never been a more important time to have a sense of Community.
Our Community is an important part of what we are about at McRae’s.
We’re delighted to be part of the Highams Park Portal website – HighamsPark.London – and to play our part in some of the Highams Park Plan’s initiatives.
During lockdown, we were pleased to make a contribution to a much-needed local food bank service.
In recent times we have supported Christmas and Summer Fayres at Handsworth School.
We were also delighted to help support the creation of Humphry’s – the community café in the Highams Park, as seen in our image which was taken long before the need for social-distancing. Like so many others, we hope to see it and others open and serving customers fully once again in the not too distant future.
In the coming weeks, many of the shops and businesses in Highams Park and surrounding area will be re-opening – albeit in a different way.
We are operating within Safety Guidelines ourselves. But we remained open throughout – remotely for a time – and have looked to serve our clients as best as possible, as we always have and will continue to do.
Having been in Highams Park for more than 20 years and in business round here for 40 years, we know the importance of the area’s community spirit. Long may it continue.
